Supriya Mallisserikalam Has Won Outstanding Healthcare and Social Care Support Award

Supriya Mallisserikalam , from Kerala, India  who born in  a middle class family  went for studying Nursing because it was her passion and her role model  to become a nurse was her  aunty Malathy   Vyas who was working in a medical college  in Kerala, her  passion turned to profession when  she got a chance to study General Nursing  and Midwifery course in Kerala where she finished and continued her profession  for 3 and half years..

Her ambition to work in GCC was supported by same   aunty who was already here with family who brought her   and she  started carrier in UAE from 2003 . Now she is in the same filed for 24 years.

Stating carrier   as a registered nurse   in OPD   turned to Duty Manager in 20 years   of UAE   was her progress in professional life which everyone should look on.

She started as registered nurse in a Private sector in UAE    and worked in   4 different facilities including in Govt Sector where she did her hard work , dedication  and self-improvement  by  continuing carrier growth . She is passionate on Joint commission international accreditation and was with surveyor during many  audits with success in 100% compliance.

She had her Post BSCN 2 year course as extended education from Vinayaka university which she complied during her second maternity leave , but with very good score in   academic.

MBA in Health care administration was her   next educational step which she full filled from Manipal University as extended education. She was able to maintain her family life, professional life and continuous education at the same level .

I love learning.. This was her attitude on self-improvement from professional point on the other hand she was well enough to   support the growth of her 2 children   and they are in grade 12 and  in grade 10 this year .

Supriya   planning on joining Six Sigma course as   part of her professional growth   .

Once its comes to her professional life … its not just  gaining knowledge , she was eager to deliver her knowledge to her coworkers and staff for the improvement of patients safety and staff safety . Medication safety and management is her favorite topic and  she did a lot of research and training to her staff in different facilities . Currently she is Chair Person for Nursing Medication Focus Group Committee    for group hospitals under her facility in UAE.

Supriya had   great contribution in health care   during covid-19 pandemic. she got much appreciation  from UAE GOVT including Golden Visa  .  she wrote  an article about pandemic life of a health care worker  in one of the Magazine released in 2021 December .

Supriya having many social support services in her home country including supporting Oncology patients’ medical treatments, supporting old age home   people   near her   home in Kerala etc;

Recently she has started her entrepreneur step in UAE by starting” Hera Designs”  as  another stepping stone in  coming days .
