Currently Dr. Hajjah Jimisiah Jaafar is holding a position as a Director for Centre for Women Advancement and Leadership, Universiti Kuala Lumpur. The centre is basically focused on research, publication, conference, webinar, capacity buildings, CSR and development of women sustainability, inclusiveness and equitable growth. Additionally, she was holding a position as the Head of Section (Advancement & Continuing Education (ACE), for three years, in charge of short courses and professional certification.
Prior to this, she was a Deputy Dean of Student Development & Campus Lifestyle for four years. She is a PhD graduate from UTM, specialized in Entrepreneurship. On top of this, she possessed 23 years of experience in banking industry and a total of 15 years in academic field. She is very active in academic research and was appointed as Team leader for several research works such as ‘A Study of Emotional Intelligence Training on Emotional Intelligence and Entrepreneurial Culture AmongBumiputra Johor Bahru Entrepreneurs. (MARA)’, ‘Business Action Plan Study in Pengerang (UPENJ)’, ‘Expo Pengerang (UPENJ)’, ‘Entrepreneur Training Pengerang (UPENJ)’ and was also involved in the ‘Study of the Effect of Entrepreneurship Training on Asnaf State of Pahang (D’Hayati Resources)’ She is also experienced as research project leader for IRDA Village Empowerment Program. She had published 25 index journal articles and several text books mainly in the area of Entrepreneurship, Technopreneurship and Innovation Management. Currently, she is PhD students. She ever supervised master students and undergraduates’ student research for final year project.
