Lweendo Chisamu was born on 28 August 2011 at Sandton Mediclinic in Johannesburg. She started her nursery in 2015 at British International Preparatory School in Johannesburg and left the school in 2021 when she relocated to Zambia. She was enrolled at Baobab College in Lusaka Zambia from 2021 to 2022. Lweendo is a child author and has published 4 books, her first book was written when she was 7 years old. Her first book is "Lweendo Chisamu's Diary - the new School" the book is a recollection of true life events that happened in her life as she was moving to a new school, this book is available for purchase on www.ethnikids.co.za, www.bookslikeme.co.za, kindle, Amazon, Book world Manda Hill in Lusaka and all M'simbi stores in Zambia.
Lweendo's second book is "Lilly Orchid gets Sabotaged" this book is imaginary but inspired by some events that happened at Lweendo's school. This book is available at Bookworld Manda Hill in Lusaka, Kindle, Amazon and all M'simbi stores in Zambia. Lweendo's third book is " Lins Pet Problems " again she uses her imagination and creativity to bring her book to life. This book is available on kindle and Amazon. Lweendo's fourth book - Agent Emi is available on Amazon, Kindle and soon will be available in bookworld and m'simbi stores in Zambia.The second, third and fourth books highlight lweendo's ability and talent as a gifted storyteller.
The style of writing and presentation is very different from her first book, giving the reader a different aspect. All the illustrations in her books are done by her and they are original and children can relate to them and as per her wish to show other children that they are perfect in their imperfections. Lweendo is a free spirited child, kind and respectful.Like most kids she loves to dance and has been doing ballet since she was 3 years old. Lweendo loves to write, watching tv,swimming,Cooking and she spends alot of time reading. She works hard at school, she is academically strong, independent with her studies. Lweendo was the House Captain at School despite her being new to the school. Lweendo is currently in year 7 going on to year 8 in September at Malvern College Egypt in Cairo Egypt.
